Adult Education

In addition to our emergency assistance programs, we offer opportunities for long-term change for our clients. Our basic Adult Education program helps our clients long-term success by providing skills needed to live independently. Our classes are offered in our Learning Center and provide help with reading, writing and math skills. We offer tutoring to help clients prepare for the General Education Development (GED) Exams.  Access to the Internet is also made available for job searches, e-mail, and resume preparation.

There are also many online resources available for anyone to use to further their education…

The Learning Resources site – offer web-based instruction

Everyday Math – some useful math for everyday life

GED Online Practice Tests – prepare for the GED test
