White Flag Flying at City Mission

Our white flag is flying-cold weather policy in effect! When the outside temp is at or below 40 degrees we fly the white flag, a sign to the homeless community that everyone is welcome to come in from the cold! We will not turn anyone away! Please join us in praying for the homeless community, that everyone will seek shelter!

Donation from St Mary’s

St. Mary’s Sterile Processing Department donate their Christmas bonus to provide washcloth, towels, and toiletry items to the Mission’s homeless. What a beautiful act of charity!

Happy New Year!

As we ring in 2016, we just want to thank all of our supporters, businesses, friends, churches and others who have kept us in your prayers, given time, money and in-kind donations to help the Huntington City Mission. We are blessed to have the community help us continue to help those who are homeless or at-risk. We are excited for a new year to begin and to continue our mission. God Bless you all!

Ladies Auxiliary

Attention Ladies – We are seeking new members for our Ladies Auxiliary! Join us this Monday, January 4th! The Auxiliary is a long standing club that is a service branch of the Mission. Our role is to provide service and financial support for specific needs of the Mission and it’s guests. We have a monthly lunch meeting, typically the first Monday of every month from 12-1pm. We meet in the Ministry Hall, which is located by main entrance at 624 10th Street. If interested in attending or for more information please contact Theresa Cashion at (304) 523-0293, extension 320 or email me at [email protected] May the love of Christ be with you always. *This month we are collecting deodorant for the homeless and baskets for the Benefit Auction committee to create gift baskets to auction on Feb 9th.

Staff thanks volunteers and donors

This year we will again serve well over 100,000 meals and provide nearly 60,000 nights lodging. We couldn’t do this without the generous gifts of churches, businesses and individuals like you. On behalf of all of our staff please know that we truly thank God for you.

Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness,
And for His wonderful works to the children of men! – Psalm 107
